The old parts come off
Christian

After a couple of days of continued soaking in penetrating oil, periodic hammer blows and preliminary attemps with the impact gun to loosen things up it was time to try and remove the rollers and sprocket. In order to try and keep the odds in my favor I used the acetylene torch to heat the area around each bolt and then gently back them off with a breaker bar and pipe. I’m happy to say that two days of soaking and preparation paid off. All of the rollers came off as did the sprocket. No broken bolts. What a relief. A broken bolt would have been a real nightmare to deal with.
