Residential house lot site work.

This is a lot for a new home.  We’ll prep’ the site for a foundation and slab/frost wall.  We’ll also install a new septic system, trench for the well line and build the driveway.  We’ll finish the job with final grading , seeding and mulching.

We start with the driveway and felling a few trees and hauling away the debris.

Next Rick, Steve, Doug and “Red” from Drilling & Blasting Specialists all work to blast a cellar hole for us.

After blasting we’re left with a lot of rock to handle, place or haul away.

Then we start digging the foundation hole.

We finish by backfilling and compacting the cellar hole to put it “on grade” for McClintick Foundations.

The crew from McClintick Foundations set the footing forms in preparation for concrete.

Jay Ribeiro– Oyster Creek Builders & general contractor on the project keeps an eye on the job as it moves along.

We started this project during the spring and then moved on to other work pending further permits and site design.  The permits have been issued and we will finish grading, building a road and excavating for a building in  the Spring.

Commercial building lot site work.

We are currently working on this project. We are clearing the lot to make way for a 80’x 36’ house/garage combination.  The job will entail blasting ledge, building two driveways, preparing the site for the foundation, and the installation of a  septic system.

This is a picture of a 4’ lift station and pump line for a septic system that we’ll install for a customer.  We’ll hook the lift station up to the existing tank and build a new leach field.  We’ll also dig the trench for the conduit and pump line and drill through the foundation wall for the conduit.

Retaining Wall Project for Heritage Landscaping

This was a fun project for a very good friend and business colleague, Grant Sorterup who owns Heritage Landscaping. Tidewater Telecom needed a retaining wall for a switching station in Union, for which Grant subcontracted me due to the size of the rock we had to work with.  The pictures to the left are the “before” photos, while the ones below show the job in progress. I’ll post a picture of the finished wall when the sun shines again!

Setting the leach field Enviro-Septic pipes

Setting the distribution box and making sure it’s level.

The job site is left clean and graded prior to forming the foundation and drilling the well. It makes everyone’s job a lot easier.

Once the foundation was finished we installed the perimeter drains– inside and out. Then we backfilled the frost wall trench with gravel and compacted it and began to backfill in preparation for the floor. We used crushed stone an compacted in in place.

Then it was time for McClintick Foundations to take care of the floor. Randy is using the bull float. Jared is running the power trowel while Armando is troweling the edges and around the pipes.
